WEB PAGE DEVOTED TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY OPENED

PanARMENIAN.Net - A web page devoted to the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey is now available. More than 130 memorials and monuments dedicated to the massacre of Armenians committed by the Turkish government in 1915-1923 can be found at www.armenian-genocide.org. The web page offers users detailed information and photographs of genocide memorials in 25 countries around the world. According to the data, the largest number of memorials are in France - 34, Armenia - 27 and the United States - 23. Moreover, Washington lays claim to the future Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial. The project was implemented by the Armenian National Institute, funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, with assistance from the US Holocaust Memorial Museum.
