AZERBAIJAN AGREED TO PLACEMENT OF US MOBILE GROUPINGS IN ITS TERRITORY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azeri leadership has already agreed to place US temporary mobile groupings in its territory, stated Senior Officer of the Military Scientific Center of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan Uzeir Jafarov, Zerkalo Baku newspaper reported. In his words, the recent trip of the Azeri Defense Minister to the US, the visits of senior military officials of the US to Baku evidence that in the near future the military cooperation between the two countries will enter a new phase of development. "To all appearance, the US highlights Azerbaijan among the countries of the South Caucasian region," U. Jafarov said. At the same time he noted that no one was going "to liberate our seized territories for us." In Jafarov's opinion, only knowledge and combatant value of the national army will allow to solve the Karabakh problem "in favor of us without many losses."
