STABILITY IN SOUTH CAUCASUS VITALLY IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF US, US AMBASSADOR TO OSCE STATED

PanARMENIAN.Net - The US welcomes "the deeper involvement" of the European Union in the South Caucasian region, US Ambassador to the OSCE Stephan Minikes stated. According to Mediamax agency, the US diplomat stated it when commenting on the speech of Special Representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie at the OSCE Permanent Council. "Stability in the South Caucasus is vitally important for all of us. The international community should continue its efforts for the settlement of the Georgian-Abkhazian, Georgian-Osetian and Karabakh conflicts", Stephan Minikes said. Being one of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for the Karabakh problem, the US welcomes the support offered to this mediatorial mission by EU Special Representative Heikki Talvitie.
