ARMENIA AND LEBANON SIGNED INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today in Yerevan a number of intergovernmental documents was signed between Armenia and Lebanon. Thus, programs of cooperation for 2004-2007 in culture, science and education are signed. A document on cooperation in agriculture is also signed. Besides the Ministers of Economy and Finance of the two countries have signed the final protocol of the first sitting of the Armenian-Lebanese Intergovernmental Commission held in Yerevan. Upon the completion of the signing of the documents Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri told journalists that his country works for promotion of the economic cooperation with Armenia, increasing the commodity turnover and strengthening ties between the business circles of the two countries. Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian in his turn noted that the Governments of both countries intend to contribute to contacts between concrete enterprises and formation of joint ventures.
