AZERI "KARABAKH LIBERATORS" INFORMED AUTHORITIES ON CAMPAIGN TO SHUSHIApril 15, 2004 - 19:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri Organization for Karabakh Liberation (OKL) has informed the authorities on the intention to organize a procession to Shushi town, situated in Nagorno Karabakh. As reported by Echo Baku newspaper, yesterday the KLO leadership sent an address to the Administration of the Azeri President, Ministers of Internal Affairs and National Security. The message contains a request to secure the "peace procession" participants. In the words of OKL leader Akif Naghi, the action will be held irrespective of being sanctioned or not. 150 activists overall are expected to participate in the campaign. The procession will be held under the slogans of "Liberty to Karabakh," "Karabakh or Death," "We Demand Fulfillment of US Security Council Resolutions." The participants of the action intend to cross the contact line between the Azeri and Armenian troops and to reach Shushi. If the Azeri army does not allow passing to the contact line, the procession participants will have explanatory conversations with the servicemen, A. Naghi said.
