ICES monitoring mission reports no gross violations at elections May 6, 2012 - 16:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of International expert Center of Electoral Systems (ICES) monitoring mission commented on the process of parliamentary elections in Armenia. “The elections have proved well-organized so far with no gross violations noted,” Alexander Tsinker said, noting installation of video cameras at some polling stations as a positive sign. “However, we felt like in some constituencies the voters were being “helped”. Still, on the whole, the elections follow a normal course.” The observer mission of International expert Center for Electoral Systems with 20 independent experts from EU member-countries, the U.S. and Israel, has been accredited by the Central Election Commission of Armenia at the May 6 parliamentary elections.
