LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR PARTICIPATION OF ARMENIAN MILITARY IN POST-WAR REHABILITATION OF IRAQ BEING FORMED

PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Assembly of Armenia today ratified the Armenian-Kuwaiti interstate agreement on the status of the servicemen of the armed forces of Armenia. As Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission for Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Mher Shahgeldian told Mediamax agency, the document determines the order of presence of the Armenian military in Kuwait, from where they will be sent to Iraq to participate in the post-war rehabilitation of the country. It should be reminded that the sending of 50 Armenian military specialists to Iraq is planned before this autumn. These will be medical officers, sappers and drivers for arranging transportation.
