ARMENIAN FM MET WITH US CONGRESSMENJune 16, 2004 - 22:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian, who is on working visit in Washington at the moment, held a number of meetings with some representatives of the legislative power of the United States. As reported by the press service of the Armenian MFA, V. Oskanian met with co-chairs of the Armenian Caucus Frank Pallone and Joe Knollenberg as well as with a number of Congressmen and Senators. During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of US assistance to Armenia, the latter's participation in the Millenium Challenge Account and the development of trade-economic ties.
