LEADER OF ARMENIAN AMERICAN LOBBYIST ORGANIZATION TO HOLD TALKS IN ARMENIA, GEORGIA AND NAGORNO KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - June 17 Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Anthony Barsamian arrived in Yerevan. He will hold talks with the supreme leadership of Armenia on the relations with the US in the fields of economy and defense. With that purpose the head of the Assembly will visit Nagorno Karabakh and will meet with Arkady Ghukasian, the President of the republic. As reported by the AAA Press Service, within the framework of the visit A. Barsamian will also visit the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, where he will meet with President Mikhail Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania and Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili. These discussions will include the US-Georgia-Armenia relationships and center on Tbilisi's plans for Javahk, a region in southern Georgia populated largely by Armenians.
