RUSSIA WELCOMES ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN READINESS TO SEARCH FOR WAYS TO SETTLE KARABAKH PROBLEM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia welcomes the readiness of Armenia and Azerbaijan to search for ways to settle the Nagorno Karabakh problem, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists upon the completion of the talks with his Armenian counterpart Vardan Oskanian in Moscow. "We discussed questions of settlement of the Karabakh conflict, noted with satisfaction the reestablishment of contacts between the Azeri and Armenian leaders, the meetings of the ministers and the intensification of the OSCE Minsk Group activities," Lavrov reported. Speaking of the work of the OSCE Minsk Group for settlement of the problem, the Russian Minister noted that the latest meetings within that format indicate the parties are ready to search for the ways to solve the issue.
