EU COMMISSIONER TO PRESENT NEW EUROPEAN NEIGHBORHOOD POLICY IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Due to Armenia being included in the Wider Europe: New Neighborhood EU initiative (along with Georgia and Azerbaijan), EU Commissioner Janez Potocnik will arrive in Yerevan July 7. As reported by the EU representation in Yerevan, in the course of the two-day regional visit the European Commissioner will hold meetings with the Armenian leadership, deputies and opposition leaders of Armenia. In the course of the meetings he will present the European Neighborhood Policy, as well as steps the countries of the region have to take to fulfill the EU Council resolutions. Potocnik will touch on the topic of conflict settlement in the South Caucasus, strengthening regional cooperation.
