"MINSK" MEDIATORS SURE IN PEACEFUL SOLUTION OF KARABAKH CONFLICT

PanARMENIAN.Net - We believe that peaceful solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is possible, and we are sure it will be found, US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group (MG) Steven Mann stated after a meeting with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, calling the conversation "frank and productive," Interfax Russian news agency reported. At that he emphasized that "the responsibility for the talks, as well as the availability or absence of progress in the settlement, is carried by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, not the Minsk Group Co-Chairs." At that touching upon the opportunity of attraction of other international organizations to the Karabakh settlement, MG French Ambassador Henry Jacolin said, "Neither the Council of Europe, nor the European Union or the UN are ready to assume the leadership in the question, as it was initially decided that the OSCE will deal with that problem."
