AN ARMENIAN OPPOSITION LEADER TO PARTICIPATE IN US WORLD LEADERS FORUM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leader of the Justice bloc of opposition forces Stepan Demirchian has left for the US to participate in the World Leaders' Forum, which will be held in Boston July 25-29. As reported by the bloc office, Demirchian was invited to participate in the forum by former US State Secretary Madeleine Albright. According to the source, in the course of the visit Demirchian will also participate in a recurrent congress of the Democratic Party and will meet with representatives of the Armenian community. It should be noted that Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian was also invited for the World Leaders' Forum. However, in the words of a Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, he refused to participate due to being busy.
