ARMENIAN LEGISLATION ADVANCED IN STRUGGLE AGAINST CORRUPTION

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian legislation showed considerable progress in the issues referring to the struggle against corruption, RA President's advisor, chairman of the commission for monitoring of the anti-corruption strategic program implementation Bagrat Yesaian stated today. In his words, the greatest role in the struggle against corruption belongs to the media and society. B. Yesaian noted that the perception of the phenomenon and its assessment as the main threat to the national security of the country became the first step of the coalition leadership against corruption. When presenting the strategic anti-corruption program, the President's advisor said that the program is not a closed document and the authorities are ready to view any proposal and criticism of the community. As for those responsible for the realization of the program, B. Yesaian reminded that by a decree of the Armenian leader the council for struggle against corruption under the RA President and a corresponding monitoring commission were formed lately.
