PanARMENIAN.Net - Official Ankara recognizing the Armenian Genocide will hardly be a condition for Turkey's accession to the European Union, Vice-President of the Assembly of West European Union Marco Zakera stated at a press conference in the Embassy of Italy in Armenia today. At the same time he noted that Turkey has to recognize the Armenian Genocide and reminded that in its time the Italian Parliament passed a resolution, which mentions the massacre of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire as genocide.
