PARTICIPATION OF ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS IN NATO PA SEMINAR NOT VERY IMPORTANT

PanARMENIAN.Net - The participation of the Armenian parliamentarians in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly seminar to be held in Baku within Rose-Roth initiative November 26-28, is not very important, Azeri Parliament Vice-Speaker, head of the Azeri delegation to NATO PA Ziyafet Askerov stated on Thursday. In his words, by Azerbaijan's request the seminar participants "will consider issues connected with the sovereignty and security of Azerbaijan - first of all those referring to the security in the South Caucasus, then the Karabakh problem and the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group for its settlement". To note, Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis Speaker Murtuz Aleskerov had stated in this view that he does object to Armenian parliamentarians' participation in the seminar.
