ARMENIA EXCEEDS COUNTRIES OF REGION IN PRESS FREEDOM

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to a research, held by Reporters without Borders international organization, Armenia has exceeded the countries of the region in the degree of press freedom. In the world rating the country is the 83-rd, while Georgia is the 94-th and Azerbaijan is the 136-th. It should be noted that the press freedom index, on which the research is based, is counted by means of survey of workers of non-governmental organizations, journalists and experts.
