YEREVAN CONSIDERS QUESTION OF KARABAKH STATUS PRIORITY AT TALKS

Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamlet Gasparian stated it, when commenting on the statement of head of Azeri Foreign Ministry Elmar Mamedyarov that latest talks on Nagorno Karabakh focus on "liberation" of 7 Azeri regions. In the Spokesman's words, all other issues are derivative, and Armenia considers them exclusively within the context of Nagorno Karabakh future status. As of the interruption of talks, both Presidents have agreed on it to have time to familiarize themselves with the issues raised, H. Gasparian stated.
