ARMENIAN MINISTER OF FINANCE AND ECONOMY AND US AMBASSADOR SIGNED PROGRAM OF MEASURES OF US-ARMENIAN ECONOMIC COOPERATION COMMISSION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Finance and Economy Vardan Khachatrian and US Ambassador to Armenia John Evans has signed a Program of Measures of the Armenian-American Economic Cooperation Commission. "The Program includes 30 items and touches upon issues of improvement of the fiscal administration, increasing the activity of the business community, satisfaction of Armenian population needs in social services, strengthening cooperation in agriculture and humanitarian field," reported the Press Service of the US Embassy in Armenia. The document also notes that Armenia is plenipotentiary to participate in Millenium Challenge Corporation program and should provide for progress in the spheres fixed in the program. "The Program urges us to set up specific tasks and provides for cooperation at the governmental level for the sake of the bright future of the Armenian people," the US Ambassador noted at the signing ceremony.
