PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN CRUCIAL FOR PEACEFUL REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT, CE SECRETARY GENERAL SAID

PanARMENIAN.Net - The presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan this year, as well as the parliamentary elections in Georgia "are crucial for strengthening democracy and peaceful development of the region full of "frozen" conflicts". As reported by "Mediamax" agency, said secretary general of the Council of Europe Walter Schwimmer during his visit to Croatia. In his words, via cooperation with the OSCE and the EU the CE actively participates in the preparation of the elections and controlling of the electoral processes in the three countries of the South Caucasus.
