TURKEY ACCESSION TO EU SHOULD RIDE ON RECOGNITION OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

In his opinion, Turkey's accession to the EU should ride on the acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide. In his turn Canadian MP, representative of the Minister of Transport Jim Karygiannis noted that his visit to Tsitsernakaberd is also pilgrimage, as he is Greek by birth, he was born in a family of immigrants and his mother is one of the victims of the genocide. «The Canadian Parliament acknowledged the Armenian Genocide a year ago and I am proud to present the Parliament, Government and people of Canada today,» he noted.
