ARMENIAN FM MET WITH BELGIAN REPRESENTATIVE TO OSCE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian yesterday met with Belgian representatives to the OSCE, Ambassador Bertran de Crumbrugge, reported the Foreign Ministry Press Service. Head of the OSCE Mission in Armenia, Ambassador Vladimir Pryakhin and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk were present at the meeting. In the course of the meeting the parties discussed a large scope of issues referring to Armenia-OSCE relations. At the instance of the guest the Armenian FM briefed him on the current stage of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Noting the important role of the OSCE in the Karabakh conflict region, V. Oskanian emphasized the importance of measures for maintaining the cease-fire regime at the current stage. The Armenian FM said he was satisfied with the fact that Belgium will preside the OSCE in 2006 and focuses on the developments in the South Caucasus.
