PanARMENIAN.Net - CIS executive secretary, head of the CIS observation mission Yuri Yarov said in Yerevan today that the statement of the four opposition candidates for the Armenian president "on mass violations" in the course of the elections "is a political move and has no proof." Let us remind that 2.5 hours before the end of the elections February 19 candidates Vazgen Manukian, Aram Karapetian, Stepan Demirchian and Artashes Geghamian passed a joint statement, in particular declaring the availability of "mass transgressions and manifestations of violence" in the course of the elections. As reported by "Mediamax" agency, in Yuri Yarov's words, the statement language does not produce concrete facts. The CIS executive secretary noted that a day before the elections he met with candidate for president Aram Karapetian. In Yarov's words, the latter said, "if the acting president collects a bit more than 50%, we do not guarantee that the opposition will not resort to extreme measures to restore the justice." In Yarov's words, the candidate's words let suppose that "opposition performs actions planned beforehand."
