A. MARGARIAN NOTED OSCE MG POTENTIAL FOR KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan met with OSCE Chairman-in-Office Dimitrij Rupel, RA government's press center reported. Welcoming Mr. Rupel's interest towards the South Caucasus the Armenian Premier noted OSCE's special mission for the establishment of peace in the region, prevention of conflicts and formation of democracy. Noting that Armenia is actively participating in the negotiations on the OSCE reformation A. Margaryan expressed assurance that the reforms carried out will raise the authority of the organization. The Prime Minister also commended Dimitrij Rupel's interest towards the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. He stressed that the MG Co-Chairs possess the potential for settling the issue. In his words, the meetings of the Presidents and Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan are efficient and should continue with the possible participation of Nagorno Karabakh at a certain stage of the process. Emphasizing Armenia's readiness to establish diplomatic relations with Turkey A. Margaryan said he is concerned over the absence of response.
