Greek Ambassador to Armenia presented copies of credentials to Armenian Deputy FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today newly appointed Greek Ambassador to Armenia Panayota Mavromichali presented copies of credentials of Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Armen Bayburdyan, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. Having congratulated the diplomat on the appointment to the office, A. Bayburdyan emphasized the importance of centuries-long historical and cultural relations between Armenia and Greece. These form basis for today's comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. In the course of the meeting the parties discussed prospects of development of Armenian-Greek relations in various fields. They specifically highlighted the development of trade and economic ties. Within the context of EU-Armenia relations, A. Bayburdyan and P. Mavromichali emphasized the importance of the working out of the Plan of Actions within the European Neighborhood Policy. Besides, the interlocutors discussed matters of Armenian-Greek cooperation within international organizations.
