CE Observers Arriving in Yerevan Today

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of two European structures - the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly and Congress of Local and Regional Authorities - are arriving in Armenia to observe the referendum scheduled November 27. Each of the structures will be represented by 7 persons, who will stay in Armenia till November 28. During their visit to Armenia the observers will meet with President Robert Kocharian, NA Chairman Artur Baghdassaryan, CEC Chairman Garegin Azaryan, representatives of NGOs and international organizations.



The CE Parliamentary Assembly delegation includes: John Tomlinson (UK), Georges Colombier (France), Jan Rzymełka (Poland), Klaus-Jürgan Hedrich (Germany), Gabor Szalay (Hungary), Nigel Evans (UK), TomᚠJirsa (the Czech Republic). The delegation of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities includes: Alain Chénard (former President of the French Congress), Luca Ciriani (Italy), Gretta Cousins (UK), Christopher Newbury (UK), Sean O'Brien (Ireland), Marja Van Der Tas (the Netherlands), Wim Van Gelder (the Netherlands), reported the CE Yerevan Office.
