PACE RAPPORTEUR ON KARABAKH TO VISIT CONFLICT ZONE AFTER PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) rapporteur on the Nagorno Karabakh issue Terry Davis will visit the conflict zone after the presidential elections in Armenia. As reported by the press service of the Armenian National Assembly, the resolution was passed at the sitting of the PACE political commission January 15. In the words of the PACE Armenian delegation Hovhannes Hovhannisian, the rapporteur's visit will be of familiarization nature. The issue of holding an out sitting of the PACE in Armenia and Azerbaijan in 2003 was also discussed at the political commission meeting.
