EU-Armenia Action Plan to Be Approved Soon

PanARMENIAN.Net - EU-Armenian cooperation develops successfully and comprises almost all fields of the political and economic life, Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian stated at a news conference in Yerevan. In his words, the third round of the talks on working out the EU-Armenia Action Plan within the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) will be held in early May. "We have a few questions to be completely worked out and I hope the Plan will be approved soon," Oskanian remarked.



In his turn EU Troika delegation leader, Austrian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Hans Winkler remarked that currently EU main goal is to strengthen relations with South Caucasus countries. "We are interested in sustainable and peaceful region. The EU has always supported peaceful settlement of all conflicts in the South Caucasus," Winkler emphasized.
