Robert Simmons Gave High Estimate to Armenia-NATO IPAP PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian met with NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus Robert Simmons, reported RA MFA press office. Summing up the outcomes of the working meeting held by the NATO representatives and the interdepartmental committee of the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), Robert Simmons gave a high estimate to the IPAP implementation process. For his part Arman Kirakossian noted that the cooperation with NATO and participation in the IPAP and Partnership for Peace program is one of the most important constituents of the Armenian security system. In this context the importance of expanding the dialogue with NATO and conduction of reforms in the defense sector was emphasized. The RA Deputy FM also briefed on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process and the Armenia-Turkey relations.



Upon completion of the meeting Robert Simmons took part in the sitting of the interdepartmental committee formed by order of the Armenian Prime Minister for the implementation of the IPAP.
