VATICAN HAS EXPECTATIONS OF TURKEY AT ITS ADMISSION TO EU

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vatican is not against Turkey's joining the European Union, at the same time it has certain expectations of it. Foreign minister of Vatican Jean Louis Tauran stated it at the meeting with Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople and all Turkey archbishop Mesrop Mutafian. In his words, as reported by Turkish mass media, Vatican's main expectation of Turkey is the legal recognition of the Catholic community in the country.
