OVER $5 MILLION COLLECTED FOR BUILDING "SOUTH-NORTH" MOTORWAY STRATEGICALLY IMPORTANT FOR KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to preliminary data, over $5 million were gathered in the course of a campaign held for many days supporting the building of "South-North" motorway, which is strategically important for Nagorno Karabakh. The philanthropic action, which finished in Los Angeles the other day, was held on the initiative of "Hayastan" all-Armenian fund. A Nagorno Karabakh delegation headed by president Arkady Ghukasian had left for France and US to participate in it. Let us note that the highway building project is estimated to cost $25 million. Almost 40 kilometers out of the total 169 of the road length is already built and operating by today.
