Relations with RA Priority in Romania's Policy in Black Sea Region

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia enjoys most developed relations, especially in the humanitarian field, with Romania more than with the other Eastern European states, RA President Robert Kocharian said at a joint press conference with Romanian leader Traian Basescu. In his words, the states consistently implement agreements in the scientific and educational sectors. "I should mention two important processes: Romania's joining the EU January 1, 2007 and completion of talks in the Armenia-EU action plan within the European Neighborhood Policy. They open prospects for cooperation," Robert Kocharian said.

In his turn, Traian Basescu underscored that relations with Armenia are a priority in the Black Sea region. "The signing of the Plan between Armenia and EU is very important to Romania," Traian Basescu said.
