ARMENIA PLANS TO EXPAND COOPERATION WITH NATO, RA PRESIDENT STATES

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia plans to expand the cooperation with the NATO. RA President Robert Kocharian has stated that in his interview with "Liberty" radio. According to him, within the framework of the cooperation with the NATO, it is expected to conduct joint military training and other issues. But, the cooperation with the NATO is not directly concerned with securing the Armenian security, the President noted. That cooperation has mediate nature but at that is quite active, since the NATO is the most powerful structure in Europe for settlement of the security issues, Robert Kocharian states. According to him, the relations with the NATO certainly have impacts on the security issues in the South Caucasian region.
