PanARMENIAN.Net - The US is focused largely on evolutionary change in Armenia, where political institutions matter more than political individuals, especially as there is not a strong or effective opposition in Armenia, Richard Giragosian, expert of the Armenian International Police Research Group - AIPRG, Washington.DC. said in an interview with PanARMENIAN.Net "This is the true oath to real democracy in Armenia, and not through any hope for a "revolution of fruits or flowers." "Taking into account the situation in Georgia and Azerbaijan, not persons but institutes are important. Presently Armenia is the most stable state in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan and Georgia have taken moves towards formation of institutes with little progress so far while Armenia has chosen the institutional way of achieving democracy,' the expert said.
