DELEGATION OF BRITISH HOUSE OF LORDS TO VISIT ARMENIA AND NAGORNO KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - A delegation of the House of Lords of the parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland headed by Vice Speaker baroness Caroline Cox will arrive in Yerevan November 1. Next day the delegation will set off for the capital of Nagorno Karabakh, Stepanakert, where it will meet with the Nagorno Karabakh leadership. Having returned to Yerevan, the British parliamentarians will hold meetings in the National Assembly of Armenia, where a joint sitting of the Armenian-British and British-Armenian groups devoted to the 10-th anniversary of creation of the British-Armenian parliamentary group will be held. Within the framework of the visit the delegation members will meet with the Armenian leadership, as well as visit the memorial to the victims of the Armenian genocide in 1915 in Ottoman Turkey.
