ANKARA'S POLICY HAD PARTICULARLY NEGATIVE IMPACT ON SECURITY IN SOUTH CAUCASIAN REGION, ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER SUPPOSES

PanARMENIAN.Net - The one-way policy of Turkey had particularly negative impact on security issues in the South Caucasian region in recent years. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated it at the seminar on security issues in the South Caucasus. In his words, Armenia is trying to change the situation and provide for positive inclusion of Turkey into regional processes. "This year we have intensified the dialogue with Turkey, but until now it cannot decline its narrow ethnic interests and view issues within the geopolitical context," - the minister emphasized. At the same time in V.Oskanian's words, Iran's weighed policy plays a positive role in securing peace and stability in the Caucasus. "Armenia highlights relations with Iran and we have the task of preserving and developing them," - he said.
