REGULAR ATTEMPT OF AZERI DIVERSIONARY GROUP TO BREAK IN NAGORNO KARABAKH TERRITORY PREVENTED

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today at about 4 a.m. local time at the south-east direction of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan contact line Azeri reconnoitring-diversionary group made an attempt to penetrate into the rear of Nagorno Karabakh defense army. As reported to "Mediamax" agency in the NKR defense ministry press office, the Karabakh soldiers undertook measures for its neutralization. A skirmish, at the result of which one Azeri soldier was killed and some wounded, began. The enemy had to retreat. The Karabakh party suffered no losses. NKR authorities made the accredited in Stepanakert representative offices of the Red Cross International Committee and OSCE aware of the incident, having expressed the readiness to pass the killed man body to the Azeri party. In connection with the incident NKR defense ministry made a statement, which emphasizes that despite the assurances of the Azeri defense minister and his orders for cease-fire regime preservation at the contact line, the Azeri soldiers continue breaking the armistice.
