Armenians of Slovakia preparing for lobbying Karabakh independence

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian community of Slovakia is seriously preparing for lobbying Nagorno Karabakh's independence, chairman of the Armenian organizations of Slovakia Ashot Grigorian told a news conference in Yerevan.



"The Armenian lobby is not strong enough in the issue. Azeris are much more active," he said adding that, nevertheless, the efforts of Armenian lobbyists resulted in passage of the Armenian Genocide resolution by the Slovakian parliament in 2004.

The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
