ELECTIONS IN ARMENIA NOT TO TELL ON COUNTRY PRESIDENT'S DETERMINATION TO SOLVE KARABAKH CONFLICT PEACEFULLY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The presidential elections will not tell on Armenian President Robert Kocharian's determination to solve the Karabakh conflict peacefully. Armenian President's press secretary Vahe Gabriyelian told "Hayots Ashkhar" newspaper it. He noted that the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs' efforts, the authority of the mediator countries and the work done by them were undoubtedly very important for us, but, as repeatedly stated by the representatives of the countries co-chairing at the group, the conflict settlement was within the competence of the confrontation parties themselves. The presidential press secretary added that there was no final arrangement on holding a meeting of the Armenian and Azeri presidents within the framework of the CIS summit in Kishinev. "In case the meeting is held, questions concerned at the meeting of the Presidents in Sadarak will apparently be discussed," - V.Gabriyelian noted.
