NO AZERI PRISONERS OF WAR IN SHUSHI PRISONSeptember 2, 2002 - 19:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no Azeri prisoners of war in Shushi prison. As reported by "Mediamax" agency, Azeri representative in the International working group on searching for missing persons, prisoners of war and hostages in the zone of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict Avaz Hasanov stated it. In his words, the group representatives visited Shushi prison at the instance of the Azerbaijani State commission on prisoners of war, as well as of the parents of missing Azeri servicemen. Before that the Azeri prisoners of war were supposed to be kept in that prison. Avaz Hasanov expressed gratitude to the Nagorno Karabakh authorities for good reception and readiness to cooperate with the International working group.
