OPENING ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER TO CAUSE "SUFFOCATION" OF ARMENIAN PRODUCTION, LEADER OF DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF ARMENIA CONSIDERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Opening of the Armenian-Turkish border will cause "suffocation" of the Armenian production. Leader of the Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsian expressed such an opinion today. He stressed that the Armenian production had just taken the way of development and in case of opening the borders even its little achievements will be destroyed. Sargsian thinks so, as the local production will not be able to compete with the cheaper Turkish production. "Improvement of the customs legislation can be of great importance in this regard, due to which favorable conditions both for exporters and local producers can be created," - the Democratic Party Leader considers.
