EUROPEAN COMMISSION AGAINST SPEEDING-UP TURKEY'S ACCESSION TO EU

PanARMENIAN.Net - European commission has come against speeding-up the process of Turkey's accession to the European Union. As reported by "Mediamax" agency, before beginning negotiations on that, the European commission will demand explanations from Ankara concerning the package of reforms passed by the Turkish parliament. As noted by the representative of the EU executive on European Union enlargement Gunter Verhoigen, "reform is a positive and welcomed thing, but EU leadership intends to study that bill in much detail."
