  6 ARMENIAN PARTIES OF COMMUNIST TREND FOUNDED UNITED ORGANIZATIONJuly 7, 2003 - 21:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 6 Armenian parties being of communist trend founded the United Communist Party (UCP). The Labor Union, the Armenian Labor Communist party, the Union of Armenian communists, the Armenian Intellectuals party, the Marxist party, the Renovated Communist party serve on the newly founded organization. As United Communist Party leader Yuri Manukian told journalists today, the new union guided by the Marxist-Leninist studies intends to restore the authority of communism in Armenia. In his words, the UCP will be a constructive opposition. To note, Armenian Communist party functioning since 1920 did not join the present union.
