ARMENIAN MILITARY PERSONNEL PROVED EXCELLENT AT NATO EXERCISESJune 28, 2002 - 23:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The multinational peacekeeping exercises "Cooperative Best Effort - 2002" within the framework of "Partnership for Peace" NATO program finished in Georgia today. Armenian peacekeeping battalion participated in it, too. As reported by the Armenian defense ministry, the Armenian military personnel was the leader among the participants and showed high level of drill. "Honored guests' day" was held within the framework of the training the day before the exercises. Deputy defense minister of Armenia Artur Aghabekian participated in it. Let us note that the next NATO exercises within the framework of "Partnership for Peace" program will be held in Armenia next summer.
