  Holocaust victims commemorated in YerevanApril 21, 2009 - 22:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Holocaust victims were commemorated in Yerevan on April 21. Representatives of the Jewish community laid a wreath to the memorial and lit candles in memory of the innocent victims. "We must remember the tragedy of the Jewish people," head of the Jewish community Rimma Varzhapetyan said. "Jewish and Armenian people have common tragic past. And now they struggle genocide denial," she said.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
