In his opening speech, Narek Hovakimyan, member of "Now" youth initiative, announced that he wouldn't sit in idleness unless positive developments were observed in the country. Then other ANC leaders' speeches followed. Ex-premier Hrant Bagratyan called on people to vote for the Congress, promising to make Yerevan a prosperous town. "That requires common sense and specific programs, something authorities lack," the ex-premier noted, stressing that elections were the last chance to change the situation for the better. There were over 5000 people participating in the rally. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
