TALKS BETWEEN ARMENIAN AND AZERI PRESIDENTS TO TAKE PLACE IN ISTANBULMay 25, 2002 - 21:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Turkish sources, the meeting of Robert Kocharian and Heydar Aliyev most likely will take place in Istanbul June 25, where the jubilee summit of the heads of the states of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation will take place. Within the framework of the forum, the second meeting of the Armenian, Turkish and Azeri foreign ministers probably will be held. It should be reminded that the agreement on negotiation holding at the highest level was reached in the course of the recent consultations of the personal representatives of the Armenian and Azeri presidents in Prague. It should be noted the meeting, initially, was planned to be held in Kishinev, where the two presidents were going to arrive to participate in summit of the SIC countries' heads. But, the summit planned in late May was decided to postpone to October. That is why the official Baku has taken the initiative to precipitate the meeting.
