Armenia doesn't lose any information confrontation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ara Saghatelyan, head of the public relations and information center at the RA President's office, doesn't share the opinion that Armenia is losing any information confrontation.

"On the contrary, a large number of Azeri experts, including head of the Center of Armenian Studies Elhan Agamirzaev, insist that it's Baku losing the information war," Mr. Saghatelyan told reporters in Yerevan today.

Armenian media feel lack of information due to improper work of press offices and PR centers in state agencies, according to him. "Insufficient competence of the employees is the main reason of non-productive functioning of these offices of state," Mr. Saghatelyan said.

Commenting on the possibility of Armenian-language broadcast in Turkey, he said that "every one has the right to circulate information.

"I am positive about dissemination of balanced information. This is a natural process and I do not see any antagonism in it," he said.
