OFFICIAL ANKARA THINKS "REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS" ORGANIZATION DAMAGED TURKEY'S IMAGE BADLY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Turkish embassy in France refused to grant visas to "Reporters without borders" international organization secretary general Robert Menard. The refusal was motivated with that the "Reporters without borders" organization included the name of general Kivrikoghli in the list of the "press enemies". Ankara thinks Menard damaged Turkey's image badly and behaved as the enemy of the Turkish people. The officials of the Turkish embassy in Paris refused even to meet with Menard. Turkish foreign ministry has presented the note stating undesirability of Menard's arrival in Turkey. Turkish ministry of internal affairs has stated "We deny Menard the air, water and land ways to Turkey".
