PACE ARMENIAN DELEGATION HEAD SURE PACE WILL RECOGNIZE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Over 120 deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe representing 30 European countries signed the statement on the Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915-1922. PACE Armenian delegation head Hovhannes Hovhannisian said in the interview to the «Arminfo» correspondent that the resolution bill on recognition of the fact of the Armenian genocide was also developed and it would be put on PACE agenda in the near future. The Armenian delegation head expressed confidence that the resolution would be adopted. «If the Armenian delegation had had any doubts on it, we would not have taken the risk and put the resolution draft on the agenda,» - the Armenian parliamentarian stressed.
